API data processing note

Partner API file use, retention and external services involved in full-element processing.

2pptx uses uploaded partner files only to perform the requested PPTX conversion.

Uploaded source files and generated results are not used for model training, public demos, or marketing examples.

Default result access through the API expires 24 hours after completion unless a shorter pilot-specific window is agreed. Use the returned expires_at; previously issued signed download URLs have their own expiry. Upload URLs are short-lived, and files are processed through 2pptx-controlled storage and workers. Partner API v1 is a best-effort pilot interface and does not include a formal uptime or processing-time SLA.

API access expiry is separate from physical storage deletion. The current production storage lifecycle is configured for two days; deletion follows that lifecycle rather than occurring exactly at the API expiry timestamp. This storage rule does not establish deletion from external processing services.

The partner is responsible for confirming that its users or customers authorized the upload and conversion of the submitted files.

When the partner explicitly requests full_element_editable, page images are processed through the configured image-model providers and Canva as part of the existing full-element production workflow. Authorized operators may inspect the source, intermediate results and final PPTX to recover or check delivery. Files sent to these external services are subject to those services' processing and retention policies; the 2pptx download-expiry timestamp does not establish deletion from those services. The partner should include this processing scope when obtaining authorization from its users.
