1. What We Collect
When you use 2pptx, we may collect the file you upload, the generated result file, file name, file type, file size, task records, request logs, IP address, browser basics, and site analytics data.
When you choose to save a purchased redemption code by email, we store the email address you submit with the order. Providing an email address is optional and is not required for payment. We use it to deliver your code and provide order support, not to subscribe you to marketing emails. The email delivery service processes the recipient address and the package email content.
2. How We Use It
We use this information only to complete upload, conversion, delivery, abuse prevention, service stability, debugging, analytics, and support.
When you enable better paragraph editing, 2pptx submits OCR text, positions, and layout information to a large-model API to decide how to merge text boxes. It does not send original file download links for this merge step.
When you enable premium clean conversion, 2pptx submits page images to an image-generation model to create text-free backgrounds, and also uses the OCR/layout information above for large-model text-box merge decisions.
For a full-element editable PPT order, automated preprocessing runs first. Authorized operations personnel may then access the uploaded source and the internal preprocessing result only to split and check elements and upload the final PPTX.
3. File Retention
Uploaded files and generated results are used only for the current conversion task. Source files, results and editing intermediates are kept for 24 hours for free tasks and 7 days for paid tasks, starting from first completion or delivery. Files are automatically cleaned up after expiry. The exact expiry date and time are shown on the result page.
2pptx itself does not use uploaded files or generated result files for model training, public showcases, or case-study promotion.
4. Transmission and Storage
Files are transmitted over HTTPS. Processing and delivery use 2pptx-controlled server infrastructure and only the minimum required third-party infrastructure providers for storage, delivery, security, and analytics.
5. Third-Party Services
2pptx currently relies on the following services where needed to operate the service:
- Tencent Cloud COS
- Google Analytics
- Baidu Analytics
- Microsoft Clarity, when you allow website experience analytics
- Large-model API providers for text-box merge and premium clean conversion image generation
The corresponding model provider's privacy policy applies to the OCR text, layout information, or page images that are necessary for the selected AI feature.
Website Experience Analytics
If you allow it, Microsoft Clarity collects clicks, scrolling, page interactions and device/browser information on public pages to generate heatmaps and session replays. We start Clarity only after you choose Allow; declining does not affect conversion or payment. This choice controls Clarity and does not change the other analytics services listed above.
We mask selected file names, file previews, redemption-code fields, upload progress and dialog content before capture. Clarity is not started on personal result, batch, checkout, history, saved-code, review or admin pages. Your browser remembers your choice; you can change it below. Withdrawing permission stops recording and reloads this page.
Experience analytics is off.
6. Your Responsibility
You must make sure that you have the legal right to upload, process, convert, and submit the files you provide to 2pptx and necessary third-party services.
